I am back on the grind! I was supposed to get my body in shape before the Summer but that didn’t really happen :/ . I told myself this September I would get serious again about my health. I will eat healthier and get back to a workout regimen. I even started a GroupMe with my line sisters so I can have gym buddies, accountability partners, and find out about classes around the city. More than anything, I personally need the support to get and keep me motivated.
On my first weight loss journey, I really ended up not needing anyone to motivate me. My pictures motivated me to work out and my pockets– I didn’t want to have to keep buying clothes because my clothes were too small. I started that journey at over 200 pounds and I got down to 165. Right now I am 180 and trying to get to 165. I am out of shape and I feel it. When I was eating healthier and working out, I felt better.
I am excited to be working out with Pretty Girls Sweat as I have heard great things about their events. They call this the “ultimate sweat sisterhood festival” and it will be hosted by Rashan Ali. Keri Hilson and Rasheeda will be there as well sweating with the group.
