When Toyota Corolla asked me to feature two celebrities that I always turn to for beauty and style inspiration…Solange was my first choice (seen HERE). The 2nd choice took me a little longer to think about…I was thinking Tracee Ellis Ross or Beyonce…but then I thought I would go for someone who is outside the box!
Rihanna is fearless! She isn’t afraid to be her and have her own style! I wish I could be like that. My boyfriend gets on me all the time about always worrying about if people will like what I’m wearing or how my hair is for example… he tells me to not care and that I can create my own style. That is Rihanna all the way!
Rihanna definitely doesn’t follow trends, she makes them! From her hair (especially her hair) to her makeup to her daring dresses, she is my #2 choice!
Rihanna exudes confidence in everything she wears–she could be wearing shorts and a t-shirt and you can see confidence written all over her! That is what I aspire to do. It’s all about how you feel about yourself when you walk down the street!
On her hair: She is a hair chameleon. You know I love a hair chameleon. From the color changes (you know I’m a fan!!) to short hair one day, long straight the next, to loose waves, to big and curly!
On her makeup: I always love her makeup looks. From smokey eyes to bright lips! She always has they bronzey “I just left the beach in Barbados” look.
On her style: She can keep it super fun one minute and have people question her look (and then they buy it the next day..)…or she can be super glam!
We think its tremendous popularity is proof that the 2012 Corolla offers the ideal blend of comfort, value and safety. In it, you’ll find a surprising number of high-end features, like available Display Audio system. It offers remarkable performance and fuel efficiency, plus an impressive list of standard safety features. Factor in its legendary reliability, and it’s even more apparent that Corolla is the smart choice.
