Tools: Diffuser

I need to get a new diffuser. I use a diffuser sometimes if I’m in a hurry and my hair has to be dry (I usually let it air dry).

Why use a diffuser?  The good thing about a diffuser is it keeps the curls in place and doesn’t munipulate them or make them frizzy. When you wash your hair, detangle it, and your curls have clumped and are looking fly, you stick the diffuser under your hair and keep it in place and it will dry those curls in place. Depending on your hair length, it could take up to 30 minutes for it to be fully dry.

  • You know, I have a love/hate relationship with my diffuser. I have the one with the long prongs and the hot sock and it takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R for my curls to dry. I just resort to sitting under a warm hair dryer for 20 minutes and fluffing when dry, which is even healthier for my curls. Sometimes it’s the products I use, but mostly, it’s just too slow for me 🙁

Do you use a diffuser often Lexi?
