#TargetStyle Denim + The Cartwheel App For Discounts
Last week during lunch, I headed to Target to pick up some denim. I have heard great things from fellow bloggers about the variety of denim, from the wash to the stretch to the sizes. I had to pick up two pair of jeans from Target.
I am a pretty classic girl, so after trying on at least 10 pair- I landed on Mossimo Mid-rise Straight. For one, I picked these because the fit was amazing. They had just the right amount of stretch and I liked the classic wash. Mid-rise is perfect for me because I am in my 30’s so no more low-rise– plus it conceals my stomach because it goes a tad higher. Last but not least which is most important to me, they have it in TALL!!I am 5’9 1/2″ so sometimes getting regular jeans won’t work for me. They all end up being ankle jeans :/ . The inseam on these were 35″. This is perfect for me!! Who knew I would be able to find jeans at such a great price that fit my long legs well. (When I picked them up, it was $10 off jeans if you tried them on).
The clearance section was amazing!! I always head straight to the clearance section everytime I go in Target because they always have great sales. When I was there, I kept seeing signs that said if you download their Cartwheel app that you can get an additional 20% off of Clearance for that weekend. They didn’t have to tell me twice. I downloaded simultaneously while I added more clearance items to my cart lol.
The first thing I picked up was the XHIL Strapless Jumpsuit in Indigo. It was on clearance for $20.98 so with the additional 20% off using the app, it was $16.78. The original price was $29.99.
Next I picked up this cute tribal top which was on clearance for $13.98 and with the discount, it was $11.18.
They had most of their shorts on clearance. On clearance for $13.98, I got these High-Rise Mossimo Jean Short for $11.18 with the additional 20% off. The original price was $19.99.
Lastly, I got this Xhiliration Bow Back Cap Sleeve dress. Original Price $24.99. Clearance Price was $17.48. After the discount, $13.98.
I would say I definitely racked up with the app and their sales. I definitely suggest the next time you go to Target to download this app so you can take full advantage of the discounts!!
