Straight Hair for Winter 2010
I absolutely LOVE my hair color. It’s going to be sooo hard to go back to dark brown or black.
But anyway, here are some pics from my hair after being straightened for the shoot. I always love to have my hair straightened during the winter since it’s cold and I won’t be sweating. Let’s see how long I can keep it straight. I will probably go a week and a half.
Since the second look of the photo shoot was big curls, I decided to tame the curls by wrapping it. Towards the end of the week, I may do big curls again and pin curl it. And then at the very end, I will do a flat twist out or cornrow out and I will run mousse down the rows (That tip was giving to me by one of the Hairstylist on the set of “The Game” Moe of Attitudes by Moe in Atlanta). That way I can have elongated curls/waves. That gives me 3 totally different looks with just one straightening. I don’t plan to put the flat iron to it again unless I do a little section that may have gotten frizzy-but I won’t set the temperature high. Here are some pics. I will update later with the big curls I do. Ohhhhh, Robyn – The owner of “Too Groovy” (ATL folks know this salon) did a technique to make big waves and curls on my hair which was new to me so I will be trying that and making a video. I also saw Kim Kimble do this to Tia’s hair on the set.
