Specific Beauty – Products Made For Multihued Skin
I recently was put on to a brand called Specific Beauty that is a skincare line specifically for women of color:
Acclaimed dermatologist, Dr. Heather Woolery-Lloyd, introduces Specific Beauty, an
innovative new skincare line specifically designed for African American, Latina, and Southeast Asian women.
The regimen includes products formulated to be used together, resulting in a more even skin tone, improved
skin texture and a complexion that is bright and radiant.
I was JUST beginning to look for a new skincare line and I think I found it. Recently I started having more issues with my skin and I can’t afford to buy the high end brands—and just because they are high end/expensive doesn’t necessarily mean they are the best. This brand has all of the items I am looking for too! Especially the Exfoliating Cleansing Cloths since they are sooo much easier on late nights when I need to wash my face and take off my makeup.
They initial product offering is:
• Daily Gentle Cleanser – an ultra gentle cleanser designed to maintain and replenish the skins’ natural hydration.
•Exfoliating Cleansing Cloths – dual-sided to carefully exfoliate the skin, while providing a deep clean to remove impurities, all without the need to rinse with water.
•Daily Hydrating Lotion SPF 30 – daily moisturizer that provides broad spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays with SPF 30.
•Night Treatment Complex – lightweight skin brightening formula that helps improve skin texture while you sleep.
•Skin Brightening Serum – a special multi-benefit complex of licorice, antioxidants, retinol and niacinimide – to provide the skin with the ultimate brightening benefits.
I can really get down with Specific Beauty’s prices! They range from $6.99- $24.99 and can be found at Walmart which makes it very attractive.
