My (Soft &) Beautiful Time In Jamaica!

My (Soft &) Beautiful Time In Jamaica!

You might have seen my vacation hair post (here). I had the most amazing time in Montego Bay with all of this group of beautful ladies. Strength Of Nature brought down 20+ beauty influencers, editors and journalists to stay for 4 days where we learned all about what the brand has coming up! (Check out my post on the Soft & Beautiful launch here)

In collaboration with The Jamaica Tourism Board + Island Routes, in addition to learning about the brand we also got to learn more about Jamaica and explore!

The experience was so awesome working with the brand. They really took great care of us and we got a chance to meet new people while chatting hair & beauty! Who wouldn’t love that?!?

Of course when you get bloggers/editors together you know it’s a ton of picture taking and seflies/usies!! lol

My partners,
My partners,

On Friday, Strength of Nature had two models that had different hair types- one loose curls and another with coily hair. They showed us step by step, how to achieve their hairstyles from dry hair to these masterpieces using Beautiful Textures & Soft & Beautiful products. We also got a chance to ask any questions to Charlene from SON and hair stylists Felicia Leatherwood & Pam Hogan.DSC_0940

Here were the final results:IMG_6350

Here was my look using the products:

After we learned about all of their launches, we did some excursions. We went tubing with Island Routes at River Bumpkin. Our guide ‘Surprise’ took great care of us. In addition to tubing down the calm river, we also got a limestone foot massage, coconut water out of a coconut (with lime), oranges, and he even gave us flowers and made us straws out of bamboo!!

We also did a catamaran cruise with Island Routes as well!! And let’s just say, we had alot of fun! From the dancing to the laughter, it was truly a good time!

The last night we had to do a group shot of course! Unfortunately, everyone wasn’t in this pic. It was super impromptu!IMG_6596

The night wasn’t over. A small group of us, let’s call us “The Turn Up Crew” opted to hang out and dance the night away at Margarittaville in Montego Bay!

When we were leaving, we all hugged in the lobby and took another quick impromptu group shot

Special thank you to Strength Of Nature crew, FINN Partners crew, The Jamaica Tourism Board, & Island Routes! #BestVacationEver
