Sephora No-Makeup Makeup Look + Ponce City Market Opening 5/27
I had the chance to get a sneak peek of the brand new Sephora at Ponce City Market in Atlanta. (The store has its official Grad Opening tomorrow morning at 10am if you are in the area)
Firstly, I love how this store is set.up. It’s bigger than the mall Sephora’s (or maybe not, lol. It just looks like it). You can park right outside the store and run in and it’s in the perfect location. If you haven’t been to Ponce City Market you are missing out. It’s like NY’s Chelsea Market but without the huge crowds (so far).
I got a chance to meet one of the Pro-team members, the Ponce store manager and team for them to give us a quick tutorial and demo on the No Makeup, Makeup Look.
After the demo, we were able to get to work on ourselves with the guidance of the beauty advisors. Side note: Did you know that Sephora has Beauty Classes? Check them out so you can learn some different looks like this. I need to stop by for the free False Lashes class. I have the toughest time and I used to be good at it :/
I took the Color IQ so I could get all of my colors in every foundation AND they give me colors that go well with my skintone for lip color, etc… This technology is amazing!! I don’t have to swatch a million colors to see what works. They tell me the color and I tried their recommendations and they matched!!
Now it was my turn:
It took all of 15 minutes.
Light foundation, a little concealer, pink lips, coral cheeks, grey liner, brown eyeshadows and one layer of mascara! Voila!!
I am happy to get a nice quick look. If you know me in real life you know that I’m lazy with makeup lol. I need something easy. I can’t use 30 items like the makeup Youtubers do lol. I need something simple that gives a nice natural look. (And something I can fit in a small bag and throw it in my purse)
Thanks Sephora!! If you live in Atlanta, stop by the new Sephora in Ponce City Market!!
