I am a big fan of Design Essentials products and looovveee their Coconut & Monoi line! It is super moisturizer and gives me great curls!!! lol. It also smells good 🙂 I recently tried out their *NEW* Coconut & Monoi Deep Moisture Balm.

Coconut & Monoi Deep Moisture Balm is a sophisticated, 10-in-1 all natural, no preservative blend featuring Shea Butter and ten of the most exotic and efficacious oils for repair, strength and shine. Infused with Marula Oil and Moringa Oil, this lightweight, highly moisturizing balm can be used as a hair and scalp moisturizer, defrizzer, heat protectant, and shine treatment. Also use on skin and body as a daily hydrator.”

I wasn’t sure if I would need to add anything else with this so I washed my hair and blotted it with a terry towel just a tad and took the balm and rubbed it for it to warm up and then scrunched it through my hair. I didn’t want to rub back and forth and make my hair frizzy. After I got it all over, I used my denman brush to re-clump the curls with the product in. Again, since it was just a moisturizing balm- I wasn’t sure if I needed to add a product for hold but …I didn’t. I was fine with JUST the Deep Moisture Balm. My hair felt good (still feels great a day later). My curls were clumped & defined, my hair looked good and it lasted all day.
