I have never worn a full wig. I have been kinda afraid of them. I have seen people all over with horrible looking lacefronts with the perfectly straight hairline with globs of glue sticking out. Now, I know this is extreme and not the norm Thankfully, several Youtube gurus have showed me what lacefronts SHOULD look like- undetectable and flawless. Long gone are the days of the tons of glue and horrible hair lines. Things are much better these days, but I was still afraid. Afraid of it flying up, afraid it will be noticed, just afraid.
I decided it’s time to try one. I partnered with Texture Crush to try out their hairt. I was excited and ran to their website and IG page to see which one I wanted. I decided to get the Coil Crush because it looked like it would be fairly easy to maintain. After all, it is real hair so it takes the work and maintenance of real hair.
They sell wefted hair as well as wigs. I have decided to stay away from sew in’s because my hair has been damaged in the past, I have been left with small bald spots, the list goes on. So I decided to transition to wigs. I picked out my first lace front wig 🙂
I wanted to share some pictures and my first impression. The hair is uber soft and I love the curls. Of course, i love big hair so I combed through the curls to create bigger hair. I am super excited about rocking this hair. Dark hair isn’t my preference, soooo I am in the process of coloring the hair to maybe a honey brown type of color. I can’t wait to share the results with you. I will also be doing videos and a couple of different styles like twist outs and bantu knots. I can’t wait to try this out.
