My favorite music festival of the year is the ESSENCE Music Festival! I am so happy to be attending again for about the 7th year in a row. It is literally the best time of the year to me. All of the day parties, concerts, fun on Bourbon St. and amazing food, it’s fun times but it definitely takes a toll on me.
During the ESSENCE Festival, I am outside for hours on end in the hot New Orleans heat. On top of that, I am out ALL day long and partying at night so my skin and feet go through it! By the end, I need a facial and a foot massage LOL
I have been a Noxzema fan since I can remember. I’m pretty sure it was the very first skincare brand I used as a pre-teen when I started getting acne. (Wow, the brand actually just turned 100 years old!!) Weirdly, I started breaking out recently. Is this what happens when you turn 30?!?! I hope not. Anyway, I enlisted back to my old favorite because I LOVED the way it makes my skin feel!
It removed all the dirt and oil from my skin getting to the pores. The sun, salt water and chlorine are no bueno for my skin. It definitely refreshes my skin. It is made with eucalyptus oil, menthol and camphor which is what gives it that great clean smell and tingle I love!! You can actually feel it cleansing and my skin feels super clean and smooth after!
Check out the Post Festival Guide for great tips for after those long outdoor festivals and weekends: (This even applies to me just coming back from a weekend at the beach. I brought it with me too since I can take it on the plane!)
It’s almost like this guide was meant for me! I was just talking to Jessica (GlamazonsBlog.com) about me starting back up with Yoga. And everytime I come from the ESSENCE Festival, I often get a foot massage while even still there! This guide is perfect and so on point with how most people feel after a festival.
I will be super prepared next week for ESSENCE. I’m bringing my Noxzema Ultimate Clear Oil Control Cleansing Cloths (found here), my Original Deep Cleansing Cream (here), & Triple Clean Anti-Blemish Pads (here). The great thing is, the 100 year old brand is so sold at mass retailers nationwide (aka pretty much everywhere lol)
Check out one of my oldie but goodie favorites! I will be checking out some of their newer products soon too, but the Original works just fine for me 🙂
This post is sponsored by Noxzema. All opinions are my honest views of the products.
