#OOTD Sunday Fun Day With ASOS Tall x Old Navy

This Sunday I headed to the Highly Textured Tea put on by Natural Chica & Mimi J. I wasn’t really sure what to wear to a tea but I wanted to do something a little different. I received this ASOS skirt a couple of months back but it was so hot that I didn’t get a chance to wear it until now. I literally tore my room up for an hour looking for it!!

ASOS Tall has a collection of clothing for ladies 5’9″ and up so I just made the mark. I always have a hard time finding pants and jeans that are the right length. Typically for skirts, they are an awkward length on me too. Maxis on me may look more like midis…and midis may look more like knee length on me. I was happy to try out some of their items from their Tall collection!

On top I wore the “Holy Chic” shirt ( found here) from Old Navy that I have been seeing alot of bloggers wear which made me apprehensive about getting it…but whatevs, it’s cute lol.

I’ve also been wearing my glasses more because my doc said I am damaging my eyes by wearing my contacts too much and I always feel so nerdy in them lol.

This skirt had so much movement and I love it. Initially when I first saw the skirt, I could only think of super dressy ways to wear it, but actually you can dress it down easily like I did with a white T-shirt. Super easy way to dress it down so I don’t look out of place. BUT I can’t wait to dress it up for holiday parties!DSC_0960 DSC_0961

It has an elastic waist that I could pull up so my belly wouldn’t hang over lol.DSC_0966
