#OOTD Guatemalan Skirt Look
Thrift stores and consignment stores are my spots. I used to go thrifting weekly but not I don’t do it as much. In my time thrifting, I have gotten some amazing treasures. This time I didn’t purchase anything. My friend Amber gifted me this Guatemalan skirt she got from a thrift store in LA. I told her I would give it back after lol hehe.
If you follow me, you know that I just went to Guatemala in April and I had a blast. It was the hand embroidery and bright colors that totally had me walking through aisles and aisles of markets down there. I wanted it all lol.
I was so happy that I was able to wear this skirt because it’s also vintage. It was super dope.
I also picked up this cool, but awkward to get on crop top. Now, according to me, my stomach isn’t right for a crop top unless I do something high waisted. Since the skirt was high waisted (or because I made it high waisted so I wouldn’t have muffin top lol) it was a perfect match for my crop top. In my head, I wanted to wear the skirt with a brightly colored bandeau but since I didn’t have one, the black crop would do.
