Week 3 is down.
Standouts of the week: Biscuit & Gravy for breakfast. I was a little skeptical because you have to make the biscuit and gravy in the microwave!! You add water to the ingredients in the package and mold it and stick it in a microwave! It comes out like a regular biscuit!!!! It was really cool. Frozen Creamsicle- It was so soft and good! Margherita Pizza – Definitely one of my favorites so far!!! For sure in my top 3!!
Saturday: Breakfast-Cinnamon Struesal Muffin, Lunch & Dinner were eaten out. I had a long day and was unable to come home first. For lunch I had one shredded chicken soft taco from a taco stand. For dinner, I had a side of broccoli and crab dip so it wasn’t too bad.
Sunday: Breakfast- Maple Flavored Breakfast Patty- This is definitely my least favorite out of the breakfast foods. I actually only ate half. I’m not generally a breakfast meat person though unless its turkey bacon.
Monday- Breakfast- Cranberry Orange Pastry, Lunch- Beef, Bean & Cheese Burrito (Still one of my favorite lunches from the plan), Dinner: Homestyle Beef with Mashed Potatoes. This was really good! The beef tasted freshly cooked and everything (I wonder what the secret is!!) I added a baked sweet potato that night.
Tuesday- Breakfast-Honey Wheat Bagel with no cream cheese. You know, I never ever, ever thought I would eat a bagel without cream cheese but I did and liked it! Lunch- Cheesy Homestyle Potatoes. This is a really good pantry meal. It has little pieces of broccoli in it too and I’m broccoli obsessed. For Dinner I was out after working out so I got broccoli and rice from a Chinese Restaurant.
Wednesday – Breakfast- Honey Wheat Bagel , Lunch- Homestyle Chicken. This was great. Like a thick chicken noodle soup. Dinner: It was a friend’s birthday so I went out. I ordered a shrimp sushi roll and a side of garlic spinach. <—- You see the pattern!! When I have to eat out, I am making BETTER choices. Oh! And since I have been on NS, I haven’t ordered any sweet tea when I eat out which if you live in the south then you know that’s hard to do!!! I even resisted fried chicken when a friend asked me if I wanted some!!
Thursday Breakfast- Southern Style Biscuits & Gravy (you already know how I feel about this!! ) Biscuits and sausage gravy is pretty much my favorite southern breakfast. Lunch- Margherita Pizza- OMG this pizza is the bomb.com …like seriously!! The tomatoes and the crust …. amazing!! I am a big crust person so if the crust is amazing, it has a fan in me! Dinner- Cajun-Style Chicken & Sausage – I’m kinda mad I am not going to New Orleans this weekend for Mardi Gras so this gave me my New Orleans- cajun fix…and it was a pretty good meal at that. Dessert- Frozen Cremesicle popsicle Yuummm!!
Friday – Breakfast- Breakfast burrito – even thought I don’t like peppers in my food, they are so small that it doesn’t bother me. The beans, cheese and eggs kinda works and I would’ve never thought to add beans to eggs. Lunch- Margherita Pizza- That’s how good it was that I am eating it two days in a row lol.
I worked out for a total of 4 hours this week.
So let’s see where I am.
Week 1 Starting weight: 202.8 lbs Ending weight: 199.7 lbs Lost 3 lbs
Week 2 Starting weight: 199.7 lbs Ending weight: 198. 2 lbs Lost 1.5 lbs
Week 3 Starting weight: 198.2 lbs Ending weight 197.1 Lost 1.1 lbs
Total Weight Loss on NS 5.6 lbs off
Check me out this past Sunday after taking a class at the gym: (It was so windy and my eyes were closed and hair blowing all over the place lol)
My friends say I already look smaller! I’m just breaking back under 200 lbs. I have a feeling that in 2 more weeks I will be at 190 or lower. I haven’t lost inches in my stomach yet, but I have lost inches elsewhere. The stomach is always the hardest part to go down for women 🙁
