My Stay In Jamaica- The Royalton White Sands Resort
It’s no secret Jamaica is one of my favorite Caribbean islands. From the food to the beaches to the culture and the people, what is not to love?
During my weekend with Strength of Nature and The Jamaica Tourism board, we stayed at the all-inclusive resort Royalton White Sands in Trelawny. This wasn’t too far from the airport which was good. After a 2+ hour flight, it’s nice to be able to get to the hotel quickly.
When we got to the hotel, we found out we had been upgraded to Diamond Club!!!! That means we get a personal butler as well! How cool is that?! The butler is always available if you ever need anything any time of the day. I didn’t get a chance to really utilize that feature, but it was still cool to know that I was in good hands.
When I got to my room, I loved it. The contemporary decor was very nice and I had a fantastic view of the hotel grounds, the pool and the ocean in the distance. It was a quant room perfect for a single or a couple.
There was a nice sitting area for when friends came over to hang out as well which was great .
There was a private beach for the VIP guests as well which had a ton of cabanas and was never overfilled:
And the beach…it was so beautiful!
They even had a spa so the first day, I got a great relaxing massage.
They had numerous places to eat including a buffet, Japanese restaurant, sports bar and more. They gave you plenty of options. We ate at the buffet mostly and we always had great food. It was a good mix of food- A little bit of Jamaican , Italian, American, & more. Pretty much everyone would find something they like. The hibachi style restaurant Zen was really nice. I had fish and shrimp with fried rice and it was really good.
I had a great stay at the Royalton White Sands Resort & Spa! I would definitely recommend this resort for couples and even for families (They have a cool kids only pool with fun looking slides as well). Next time I go to Montego Bay, I will definitely be looking to stay at the Royalton again.
