My New Braids- Vacay Hair

Yay! Two more days then I am off to Europe. So I ended up deciding to get single braids with extensions. I think I made a great decision. I have been getting so much inspiration from ILoveBoxBraids.Tumblr.com

After searching high and low for a braider that I could afford, I found Temi in Marietta on Craig’s List. So glad I found her. She did my braids out of her house so she is able to charge affordable prices.

Stats: Almost 9 packs of hair. Kanekalon Silky Jumbo Braid Hair . 2 packs of color 27, 1 pack of 1B/27 and 6 packs of 1B. She braided the hair all the way to the bottom and did not cut.

Check out my braids:

How do I feel? Great! My head doesn’t hurt. I have to get used to the heavy braids though. I have just been wearing them down right now until I move them up into a high bun a la Solange or another cool updo.

Temi’s info : http://www.stunnababez.com/ or http://www.facebook.com/stunnababez  Right now she is doing a special. $70 for singles, Ghana braids, kinky twists, corn rows. Mine were a little extra because I wanted my braids so long.

  • Ooh! Cute. I wonder if she does yarn braids. Off to find out now.

  • Like the braids. I found an excellent braider in Creative Loafing when I lived in Atlanta several years and many moons ago.

Beautiful! I have to say I hadn’t missed having braids until I saw yours. Now I miss being able to put it up in a bun or ponytail. Enjoy your trip!
