My Go-To Hairstyle With Pomades- Still Rockin Indique Mystere Curl

Posted on Sep 18 2012 - 5:10pm by LexiWithTheCurls

I have been looking for additional low maintenance styles with these extensions, even though the hair in general is low maintanence because it matches (similar) to my hair texture.

When I wash my hair, it very much so mimics the hair texture wet. But don’t be fooled!!! As soon as it dries, there will be a CLEAR difference! My hair= a big puff ball,  Extensions=defined  Soooo…. after I wash my hair, I have been using several “edges” type of pomade to put on the edges and to add shine.

I have used several pomades like the ones below:

I take my wet hair and use my pomade of choice for the day and do a flat twist incorporating my hair into the extensions hair for flawless blending. Once I decide to stop adding hair, I twist about halfway and secure in the back of my head with bobby pins. I do the same with the other side. I will do a video tutorial soon.

I got alot of compliments and alot of jaw dropping with people not believing it’s not my hair.
This seems to be the go-to style for alot of ladies with extensions with a little of their hair out.

Bonus pic of my hair with my favorite rapper boo (not really my fav lol, but you get it!)

Very cute! I used to wear my hair similar to this when it was longer. Definitely a great, easy style.

Hey Amanda, I really can’t pick between the two. They are both great! Great hair quality, minimal shedding, holds the product well and mimics my hair texture. I really can’t decide between the two.
