Hair Blow Own With The Dry Bar + #Nexus7
In August I did a ton of research because I was looking for a new tablet. I had been researching for some time and decided to go with the Google Nexus 7– 2nd Gen that just came out. I was super excited because I loved everything about it! The specs, the new camera, and I love Android tablets (even though I am a true Mac girl)
I purchased it and have been in love ever since. Google Nexus invited several bloggers to come hang out, check out the Google Nexus 7 and get their hair blown out at The Dry Bar in ATL. Eboni of Fashionista-Next-Door.com was invited and I was her guest.
Here is how I started:
Meanwhile, I played with the Google Nexus 7 (which I am super familiar with). Check out these 10 things to know about it:
Lighter than Ever, Lasts Longer At just 0.64lbs (290g), the all-new Nexus 7 is light enough to take anywhere. With up to 9 hours of HD video playback and 10 hours of web browsing or reading, there’s plenty of juice to get you through the day, and built-in wireless charging means you can charge, grab, and go.
The Sharpest 7” Tablet Screen Ever With a 1920×1200 HD display, the Nexus 7 is the world’s highest-resolution 7” tablet – that’s over 2.3 million pixels in the palm of your hand. With 323 pixels packed into every inch, you can read text that’s sharper than the printed page, see images more vivid than the highest quality photo magazine, and watch videos that come to life in vibrant 1080p HD.
Sound that Surrounds Nexus 7 features stereo speakers and virtual surround sound from Fraunhofer, the MP3 inventors, giving you rich and immersive audio. Hear it all more clearly with finely tuned volume boost technology that makes dialogue and sound crisp.
Fast and Smooth Built in collaboration with ASUS, Nexus 7 packs a serious punch. With a quad-core Qualcomm SnapdragonTM S4 Pro quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM, everything runs faster, and high-performance rendering ensures 3D graphics are smooth and dynamic.
Connect from Anywhere With dual-band Wi-Fi and optional 4G LTE, including support for hundreds of networks worldwide, you can stay entertained – and connected – wherever you are.
Best of Google Nexus 7 comes loaded with your favorite Google apps – like Chrome, Maps, YouTube, Hangouts and Google Now. And because Google apps are designed for the cloud, everything is simple and works seamlessly across your devices.
Powered by Android Nexus 7 is the first tablet to ship with Android 4.3, the latest version of the world’s most popular mobile operating system. Tablets are perfect for sharing with others, so we’re introducing restricted profiles, which let you limit access to apps and content. For example, restricted profiles enable parental controls, so certain family members are prevented from accessing mature content. Likewise, retail stores can use tablets to show off product information, and shops can use tablets as point of sale systems—all while limiting access to apps.
Introducing Google Play Games The easiest way to discover games you love and play with friends around the world. The brand new Play Games app lets you track your achievements, play with (or against) friends and gamers and discover new exciting games.
Ready to Play – Kick back with the world’s largest collection of eBooks, listen to millions of music tracks and immerse yourself in thousands of movies and TV shows on Google Play. And with an ever-expanding number of apps designed for tablets, there is something for everyone.

After we learned all the deets about the Nexus 7, we continued to get our hair done. Eboni and I were both getting different styles. I decided to get a loose wave type of look!
Here is the final results:
I’m obsessed with camo now!! Also, I know it’s winter but it was like 70 degrees last week in ATL.
I love that they were able to do my hair so fast and to have it bouncy and not bone straight! It was the perfect weekend look!
