#FitnessFriday Back In Boot Camp + Inches vs Weight

Well, I am back in boot camp lol. I hadn’t been to the gym in about 7 months straight (LA Fitness is definitely getting money for nothing right now) and I have been eating ALOT. I had definitely been getting too comfortable and I noticed it …in my stomach. Just from May until now, I see a difference.

Some people gain weight all over and others in their stomach. Mine goes to my stomach 🙁 . To be honest, it doesn’t bother me how much I weigh. I just want to be proportioned and not have muffin top. I see plently of women that were my same weight when I started at over 200 lbs who look fabulous and have a super cute body. I didn’t have that though. My weight was all in my stomach (and chest lol).

So rather than weight being my goal, I just want to lose the stomach (or enough of it that I can easily hide it again lol).

I go to Kenya Crooks in ATL who also trains some of Atlanta’s hottest reality stars like Kandi from RHOA, The Braxtons, Tameka Raymond + Monyetta Shaw from Atlanta Exes, and many more. He got me from here to here:

I lost several inches all over and was very happy I stayed consistent. I,however, am not a gym person. I need motivation which is why group boot camps work better for me. We can motivate each other. If I go to the gym, I’m probably going to get on the treadmill for 20 mins and get bored and leave.

In addition to boot camp, I love taking classes at different schools that help me stay active and help me stay healthy. I will be sharing my continued journey 🙂

    High five chest bump Lexi! Your personal trainer got you toned from head to toe! I’m not a gym rat either. The thought of just going and hitting the treadmill bores me to death! What types of exercises do you guys do in boot camp?
