Fashion’s Night Out- Atlanta edition

I know we aren’t in New York but Atlanta is definitely stepping it up and doing it big like we were in New York. Fashion’s Night Out provided fashion events all over New York City and several other cities. In Atlanta several boutiques in the city participated as well as Saks 5th Avenue and Neiman Marcus as well as several luxury store’s such as Jimmy Choo and Tiffanys. I only made it to Neiman Marcus and Saks which was enough. Neiman Marcus provided awesome appetizers like crab cakes, chocolate covered strawberries, asparagus wraps, and more plus all the drinks you could want. They had several giveaways as well so of course I signed up for EVERY giveaway possible ( I hope I get that phone call! 🙂 )

Anyway, they offered photoshoots and I cant wait to see the pics from the photographer! Here are some shots.  (I know…I know…. I need to get my roots touched up. lol )

They did this cool photoshoot at Saks with students from SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) and they dressed me up with accessories for the shoot. It was awesome.

I can’t wait to see the professional pics. I went with Sherita and Adrienne and I ran into some other lovely natural friends I have.

I ran into Yanicka of NaturallyYanTan . I hadn’t seen her in over a year so it was great seeing her again. Her hair has grown soooo much in a year and it is so healthy and soft. She actually put me on to Redken Smooth Down Butter Treatment (which reminds me, I haven’t used it in awhile).

I also met up with my friend and co-worker Ashia of Clueless Fashionista (of course I catch her scoping out some Louboutins) . She had locs when I first met her and she decided to cut them off and go back loose again. Since then she has been rocking everything from twists to crochet braids. She definitely knows how to do her own hair and it looks good.

I also wanted to show a better shot of Sharita’s hair style. I’m loving it. I’m waiting on her to do a video. I don’t think you can see it that well in these pics but it was super cute. She calls it the “Honey Bun”

Okay here is a pic I got from her site

Just wanted to share this awesome experience we had. Everything was FREE and anyone could attend. I’m so surprised more people weren’t out. I’m definitely always trying to take advantage of free events the city has to offer.
