For the past couple of weeks I have been writing for the AJC.com . For those of you that don’t live in Atlanta, that is the largest newspaper in Atlanta. I get to write about what I love: Shopping!! I will be doing features on Atlanta based makers and boutiques in Metro Atlanta. If you have any place to recommend or a designer to recommend, please let me know. For now, check these out:

Atlanta Makers

Suakoko Betty http://www.ajc.com/news/lifestyles/shopping/suakoko-betty-brings-african-print-contemporary-de/nrHHM/  This is one of my favorite designers. I LOVE African print everything which you probably already know. I was so excited to interview her for this feature.

BioRepublic http://www.ajc.com/news/lifestyles/shopping/biorepublic-combines-korean-beauty-and-eco-friendl/nrL4t/  I met one of the owners last year and tried out his skin masks and was happy to interview him to learn more about how he started his line of face masks. Check out more details.

BohoGal http://www.ajc.com/news/lifestyles/shopping/boho-gal-stuns-bohemian-jewelry-designs/nrK I frequent Beehive Atlanta (see below) and I always admired the designer BohoGal’s work. I went to a warehouse sale and met her last year and I absolutely love her bohemian style jewelry.

Atlanta boutiques

Alexis Suitcase http://www.ajc.com/news/lifestyles/shopping/snag-gently-used-designer-fashion-alexis-suitcases/nrBjf/ This is practically one of my favorite consignment stores. I have sold stuff here and made money AND I buy stuff from there. If you want a gently used Louis or Louboutins, this is your spot. Even if you don’t live in ATL, follow them on Instagram and if you see something you like- ORDER it!!

Beehive Atlanta http://www.ajc.com/news/lifestyles/shopping/shop-many-local-designers-one-spot-beehive-atlanta/nrNMp/ I have been going to Beehive for years. This is a boutique that sells ALL local designers. You can get everything from candles to jewelry to clothing. Pretty much everything and all styles.

Hemline Vinings http://www.ajc.com/news/lifestyles/shopping/hemline-boutique-brings-something-different-vining/nrHP6/ I found Hemline walking aimlessly in New Orleans one day by myself and was hooked immediately. They sold all of my favorite brands AND they sold local designers. I was sooo happy to find out that they had one in Atlanta. Check out this cute boutique.

Thank you for supporting.
