Atlanta Life: The Shops Buckhead Atlanta
Years ago, in Atlanta we used to have a vibrant club scene all in one area in the Buckhead section of Atlanta. After too many fights (and Yes, shootings) they shut down that area. Fast forward to 2014, they built the ultimate shopping area that reminds you of the much smaller version of the Champs-Élysées in Paris- basically a high end outdoor shopping area. It’s called The Shops Buckhead Atlanta.
In Atlanta, while we have alot of wealthy people, the closest we have to this is Phipps which is a quiet half-empty high-end mall.
I was so excited when they opened this area up. It has a diverse crowd, great sights, good food, and amazing shopping. Here are some of my go-to places in the shopping area::
I have been shopping at INTERMIX for years (only when they have sales lol). This boutique sells everything from J Brand, Elizabeth & James, Diane von Furstenburg, & More. They have a great variety of everything from purses to shoes to clothes & accessories, they have it all. IntermixOnline.com
If you have ever had Shake Shack in NY, we now have one in Atlanta. With amazing burgers and yummy milkshakes, I just can’t get enough. They also have a really cool rooftop for you to sit out and look over Buckhead.
Must Try: Peachtree Shake- Caramel Peach Shake
Who doesn’t love the iconic Christian Louboutin shoes with the red soles? You can check out the latest pair of pumps or extravagant shoes. if you are in the market for a pair, I would imagine they have more variety than the department stores in the area that sell CLs. I love checking out the Atlanta boutique.
Most of the high end bags or shoes that I have are items I got from consignment stores. I like to save money when I can and I really don’t like to pay for anything full price. lol. Bella Bag let’s you find bags you may have wanted, but don’t mind buying gently-used. They even offer a layaway program!! I have had my eye on a Chanel bag for awhile but there is no way I can afford a brand new, in Saks prices. You can get them here for a fair price gently used. With the 4-payment plan they have, it makes it feel a little better than dropping all the money all at once!
As a glasses-wearer, I love browsing in Warby Parker. I try on all the different pair of glasses and take pics in them then figure out which ones I like better. Most of my friends have glasses from Warby Parker and they swear by them. You can try on the glasses in store and you can have a prescription in your glasses within a week ready for you. They start at only $95. If you need any adjustments, you can slide into the Buckhead store also. P.S. They have a new Fall collection
There is a long list of stores in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta. It is definitely a good way to spend the weekend when you visit Atlanta or if you live here 🙂
