ATL- World Natural Hair Show Time!

Posted on Apr 17 2012 - 1:30pm by LexiWithTheCurls

Are you going to the World Natural Hair Show? This is the largest of it’s kind and it’s definitely a great idea to go and pick up your favorite brands (usually at a discount)

I’ve been the past 4 years and have seen tremendous growth.

Some of the biggest booths will be popular products Miss Jessie’s, Shea Moisture, Hair Rules, Beautiful Textures, Mixed Chicks, Uncle Funky’s Daughter, Mizani, Dr. Miracles, Oyin Handmade (OMG I haven’t seen them here before), Organic Root Stimulators amongst other brands.

This should be fun to see all of the lovely ladies from Atlanta and people who are coming in from out of town!

Who is going to The World Natural Hair Show?

I’m going and I am so excited. I’ve lived in ATL since 2009 but this will be my first year going. Hoping to build some relationships so that I can go back to Dallas,TX and help with the Natural Hair Movement.

I am coming from DC. Went last year and had a really good time. Oh, last year the line to purchase tickets at the door was long, so I recommend you purchase tickets on-line. See you next weekend!

I’m definitely going, but I may attend on Sunday, instead of Saturday. The last two times I went there were too many people, and the fire marshall was closely monitoring the number of people inside. On a side note, I definitely didn’t know that Oyin Handmade was going to be there. I’m about to get a serious fix of my Oyin Handmade, Karen’s Body Beautiful, and Shea Moisture. I can’t wait!

I went on Sat had a good time. I have locs so I really just go for the non hair vendors and to be inspired by the fashions/hairstyles.

My only compliant this yr is the parking/entry situation. For some reason they BLOCKED all the parking lots on the Rosevelt Hwy side forcing you to enter on Camp Creek which was bumper to bumper. Took me 45mins to get through traffic and park I was super ANNOYED!
