I had a great time in New Orleans for the Essence Festival and the highlight of my would be doing a camera interview with owner Lisa Price and new spokesmodel Selita Ebanks.
When I met Lisa Price the day before, she was so friendly and we complimented each other’s hair. She was telling me she just had a conversation with some ladies who didn’t know what to do with their curly hair. She was telling them not to comb their hair and disrupt the curls. I was just explaining to her that my mother earlier that day , who has a relaxer, said I should comb my hair. Some people just don’t understand that you can’t comb curly hair or it will be a big frizz ball. Being/going natural is a learning process and Lisa Price was there to answer all your hair questions.
I interviewed her and asked her about the Monoi Collection, the new spokesmodels, and whats next for Carol’s Daughter. (VIDEO COMING SOON)
I then got a chance to interview Selita Ebanks who was absolutely stunning in person (as she is on television and print as well). She complimented my coral lips It was so funny because I am always nervous about bright colors on my complexion but since she said she liked it, then I will stick with it lol.
I asked her about being a Carol’s Daughter spokesmodel, her hair regimen, and beauty tips (VIDEO COMING SOON)
So my hair was not looking hot, I pinned it back on the sides. At this point, I was so exhausted from the heat and wanted my hair OFF of my face.
BTW, I am sooooo loving those new promo shots of the spokesmodels in the background!!
